UX Design of a Landing Page for a Children's Fashion Marketplace

Project Background
Stylette was created to solve major challenges parents face when shopping for kids’ clothing. High-quality clothes are expensive, children outgrow them quickly, and many parents lack the time or resources to shop responsibly. The platform combines resale, retail, and rental into one convenient solution, offering an affordable, sustainable, and community-driven approach to children’s fashion. The goal of this project was to design an MVP landing page that would effectively communicate this vision to potential investors and secure additional funding.
Key Performance Indicator of my project
This is the impact of the project, shown in real numbers.
Conversion Rate
Measure how effectively the landing page motivates visitors to sign up or take the desired action
Engagement Metrics
Monitoring engagement would provide insights into which features and content resonate most with the audience
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
A well-designed landing page should help lower CAC by effectively capturing and nurturing user interest
Process
The creation of the MVP landing page for Stylette followed a structured and user-centered approach.
First, I conducted extensive research and ideation to understand the market and user needs. This involved analyzing competitors in the children’s clothing space to identify gaps and best practices, as well as gathering insights from surveys and interviews with parents. These findings highlighted the key value propositions for Stylette: affordability, sustainability, and convenience, which guided the design process.
Next, I focused on defining the structure of the landing page. I created wireframes to map out the flow of information, ensuring that each section followed a logical sequence to engage visitors. Clear messaging was a priority, and the layout was designed to highlight Stylette’s three main services—resale, retail, and rental—while emphasizing its sustainable mission. The page aimed to communicate the platform’s benefits visually and concisely.
In the design and prototyping phase, I developed a modern and playful aesthetic that appealed to families while maintaining a professional tone. Interactive elements, such as hover effects and animations, were incorporated to make the experience dynamic and engaging. Trust-building components, including testimonials, eco-friendly benefits, and community impact stats, were prominently featured to reinforce the platform’s credibility.
Finally, I ensured the design was optimized for impact by emphasizing clear calls to action and visually showcasing Stylette’s potential. The landing page effectively conveyed the platform’s vision, addressing both the practical needs of its users and the broader goals of sustainable children’s fashion.

Result
The landing page successfully communicated Stylette’s vision, leading to the platform securing additional funding in its next investment round. Investors appreciated the clear and user-centered presentation, which effectively highlighted the platform’s potential and its alignment with market trends.
